Let’s get started 🙂
Is There A Zelle Referral Link?
Currently, Zelle is not offering a refer-a-friend program.
But we would suggest using an alternative such as Cash App.
Cash App has a great referral bonus of up to $10.
To earn a welcome bonus, use this link to sign up: GET CASH APP BONUS
Or use Cash App referral code: K2VP13D
When you follow this link, you’ll need to complete these steps to sign up for your Zelle account:
- Enter your basic contact information
- Enter your U.S. phone number
- Connect a Visa or Mastercard debit card with a U.S.-based account.
Now you’re good to go!
What is the Zelle Referral Program?
The Zelle referral program is designed to reward people when they invite friends and family members to use the Zelle app.
When you recommend Zelle, your friend gets a $5 bonus and you get an extra $5 for each successful referral.
It’s as simple as that!
Your referrals will need to use your unique referral code in order for the payment method to be eligible for the referral program.
Getting the Zelle Referral Bonus
Here are three ways they can enter your unique code:
- On desktop: When adding a new bank account or debit card on certain mobile browsers, anyone can enter the referral code from their invitation email or SMS message into the Referral Code field at checkout.
- On mobile devices (iOS & Android): Once someone has downloaded the peer-to-peer payment app and added a funding source to their account, they can enter the referral code from their invitation card into the “Referral Code” field at checkout.
- On the Zelle app: People who do not have an invite card can still take advantage of this offer by downloading the Zelle app from App Store or Google Play and entering the referral code they received in an invitation email or text message, flyer or promotional materials.

How to Invite Someone to Use Zelle
To invite someone to use Zelle, have them enter your Zelle code.
When you’re ready to refer a friend, get your Zelle code by navigating to zellepay.com on your computer, tablet, or smartphone and select Enroll.
Go through the steps on the screen to create an account and enroll in Zelle.
Once you are enrolled, copy and paste your Zelle code into an email, text message, social media post, or any other medium to share with friends and family.
How to Tell If Your Friend or Family Member Enrolled
To see if your friend or family member enrolled in Zelle, go to zellepay.com on your computer, tablet, or smartphone and select Forgotten Zelle Code.
That will take you through the steps to retrieve your Zelle code.
When they enroll, Zelle will send them a unique email with instructions to verify their identity.
If that verification is successful and they add a funding source within 14 days, they’ll each get $25 in their Zelle account.
Zelle will keep trying for up to 90 days after the enrollment date if there’s no response from them.
If your friend or family member doesn’t know their Zelle code, you can tell them they need to find it in their email inbox at zellepay.com and follow the instructions provided there.
